This service has successfully provided protection for thousands of vehicles, including both classic and new cars, vans and motor homes. It has also been applied to HGV trucks and trailers, farm machinery, plant and machinery, and vehicles for the RNLI and Bay Search and Rescue in the Lake District.

Our Full Corrolan Hot Fog Rustproofing,
This system has been designed for all types of vehicles and takes approximately 1.5 days from start to completion. In this service, all plastic wheel arch liners and undertray are removed to fully expose the surfaces to be coated before the removal of all loose rust, failing coatings, old loose wax etc. This service is available in Telford, Shropshire, Preston Lancashire, and Spalding Lincolnshire.
- Steam cleaning of the undercarriage.
- Cleaning with Chlor-X Salt Remover to remove any ingrained winter salt crystals and Traffic Film Remover to make sure all grease and dirt is removed from the vehicle to be coated.
- Removal of all plastic wheel arch liners and undertrays
- Dry the vehicle using a 10 hp warm air blast drier and infrared heat.
- Remove any loose layered rust and old flaking coatings back to a sound surface.
- Convert any sound surface rust with our award-winning Fe-123 molecular rust converter or soak with Corrolan Penetrator.
- Application of Corrolan Pure underbody rustproofing.
- Injection of all cavities with HOT Corrolan Active cavity wax that penetrates deep into every crevice and seam to drive out moisture and minimise corrosion.
- Sills, subframes, door pillars, doors, quarter panels, bonnets and boot/hatch doors are all injected.
- Once all waxing is completed, we will then re-install all plastics removed from the vehicle and remove any visible wax overspray.
- Before collection all vehicles (size depending) are washed.
New for 2024 Lano Coating Service
This system has been designed with regular re-coating in mind, Rustbuster’s Lano Coating Service takes approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on vehicle size. No plastics are removed in this process, this service is not for heavily rusted vehicles. At present this service is available in only in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Prices for this service start at £120.00+vat.
- Dust, dirt and road debris blown away and vehicle underside dry brushed down.
- Removal of wheels and masking of brakes and hubs.
- Inspection of chassis, sub frames, sills etc. for corrosion and rot. Please see the note on welding repairs below.
- Vehicle bodywork is masked in vinyl electrostatic wrap before wax spraying begins.
- The underbody is coated with Rustbuster Corrolan Penetrator.
