Our Full Corrolan Hot Fog Rustproofing From £395.00+vat

In this service, all plastic wheel arch liners and undertrays are removed to fully expose the surfaces to be coated before the removal of all loose rust, failing coatings, old loose wax etc. When brand new or nearly new vehicles are treated it’s unlikely they’ll require the same amount of preparation as an older vehicle. If a vehicle is still within it’s anti-perforation warranty Rustbuster won’t drill any holes to access.

Rustbuster’s trained applicators make the final decision on your vehicle’s treatment.

This service is available in Telford, Shropshire, Preston Lancashire, and Spalding Lincolnshire.

• Steam cleaning of the undercarriage with Chlor-X Salt Remover to remove any ingrained winter salt crystals and Traffic Film Remover to make sure all grease and dirt is removed from the vehicle to be coated.
• Removal of all plastic wheel arch liners and undertrays
• Dry the vehicle using a 10 hp warm air blast drier and infrared heat.
• Remove any loose layered rust and old flaking coatings back to a sound surface.
• Convert any sound surface rust with our award-winning Fe-123 molecular rust converter or soak with Corrolan Penetrator.
• Application of Corrolan Pure underbody rustproofing.
• Injection of all cavities with HOT Corrolan Active cavity wax that penetrates deep into every crevice and seam to drive out moisture and minimise corrosion. Read More on Hot Fogging Here
• Once all waxing is completed, we will then re-install all plastics removed from the vehicle and remove any visible wax overspray.
• Rustbuster’s trained applicators assess each vehicle individually, choosing the best approach this may see a change in the standard works listed above

• Dust, dirt and road debris blown away and vehicle underside dry brushed down.
• Removal of wheels and masking of brakes and hubs.
• Inspection of chassis, sub frames, sills etc. for corrosion and rot. Please see the note on welding repairs below.
• Vehicle bodywork is masked in vinyl electrostatic wrap before wax spraying begins.
• The underbody is coated with Rustbuster Corrolan Penetrator.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How long the protection lasts ? “Full Hot Fog services typically last 5–6 years, though we recommend a bi-annual inspection and top-up. Lano Coating is designed as an annual application.”

• If removal or cleaning is required beforehand? “The Full Hot Fog service includes steam cleaning; however, if your vehicle is heavily soiled or used off-road, a pre-wash is recommended.”

• Washing restrictions after treatment? “By the time you collect your vehicle, Rustbuster’s Corrolan coating will have already begun to cure. Washing and pressure washing are fine, but avoid spraying too close to the wax. Steam cleaning is not recommended, as it can remove the coating.”
