Fuel Tank Cleaners and Sealers

We offer a comprehensive range of internal and external fuel tank sealers resistant to petrol, diesel, oils, and solvents. All our sealers have been tested and proven effective against 100% corn bioethanol. Additionally, they are compatible with current E10 fuel (10% ethanol) and the upcoming E15 fuel (15% ethanol) soon to be introduced in the UK.

At Rustbuster, we utilise both polyurethane and epoxy technologies to deliver durable protection. Our product range also covers tank sealers for industrial petrochemical plant bulk storage tanks. For specialised coatings—including Novalac epoxy, pipeline identification colours, and corporate colours used by Shell, BP, and others—please contact us with your specific requirements.

Important: Before applying any tank sealer, ensure all existing or failing coatings are thoroughly removed to guarantee proper adhesion and long-lasting protection.

Tank-Kleen

A caustic detergent that removes tar and petrol deposits from an old tank. Supplied with every Slosh tank seal kit or buy seperately.

Slosh Tank Sealer – New Formula

Due to our original Slosh binder being no longer available we have switched to a new formul , still ethanol proof and tested to the same high standards. For bike and car fuel tanks: steel, aluminium and GRP (not plastic).

PC-7 Epoxy Paste

The king of repair paste. It’s petrol resistant, so ideal for sealing suspect areas such as seams, welds and pin holes on a tank exterior. PC-7 is a fine paste; not a putty stick.

Tank-Guard

Epoxy coating for tank exteriors, including sealing of tank seams and repairs after application of PC-7. Stops ethanol/petrol fume bleed that can ruin a painted tank. Over paintable.

Previously Coated Fuel Tank Stripper

This extremely strong resin remover will strip an old flaking or failed fuel tank sealer.
