🧼 Surface Preparation for Fluid Film Black

For the best performance, proper surface prep is essential:

1. Power wash the area to remove dirt and debris.

2. Degrease using a strong detergent like Rustbuster SP10.

3. Remove loose rust with a wire brush or mechanical tools.

4. Treat any remaining surface rust with Rustbuster Fe‑123 Rust Converter.

5. Allow the surface to dry before application.

🛠️ How to Apply Fluid Film Black (Non-Aerosol)

• Shake or stir thoroughly before use.

• Ensure the product is at or above room temperature for optimal spraying.

• Thinning is usually unnecessary. However, vegetable oil can be added if needed.

• Use a compressor and spray gun — not suitable for hand or garden sprayers.

Recommended spraying pressures:

• Compressor: 60–80 psi

• Airless equipment: 2,000 psi
