Slow but sure rust removal "Naturaly"
All you need for succesfull rust removal on corroded components the rust removal kit contains 1 ltr of Safer Rust Remover concentrate, It will make up to 5 ltrs of rust remover, a 5 ltr bucket complete with lid, a submerible heater to keep the rust remover at the optimum temperature, and finally a nylon bristle agitation brush.
Fix the underwater heater onto the inside of the bucket via the suction braket
Mix the 1 ltr safer rust remover with 4 ltrs of fresh water.
Set the heater between 25 - 30 degrees and leave to warm, when the temperature is reached the light will go out.
Remove heavy encrusted rust or grease from the component by hammer or scraper, then dip the whole assembled component into the solution ( gloves may be worn but the solution is safe to touch) rubber and other metals will not be harmed by the solution. After several hours lift the component out of the solution and scrub under a water rinse, or if the rust is particularly heavy scrub while in the bucket.If you require more rust removal return to the bucket and inspect the following day. When you are happy with the results and all of the rust has been dissolved wash under fresh water. Then dip once more into the solution and allow to dry, the final dip will prevent flash rusting.
Safer rust remover is not a fast acid treatment the removal is by gentley getting into and under the rust disolving it into the solution. Be patient and the results will astound you. When the rust has been removed threads will be deep and clean, casting marks and numbers will reappeare. Safer rust remover is safe enough for use with archealogical artifacts.
There is no set time for total rust removal regular inspection and aggitation to remove the loose rust will speed the process along.
