EPOXY-MASTIC ON TEST
Look what Practical Classics Magazine had to say! in 1997 and 2007 tests

"A product used to protect oil rigs from corrosion in the North Sea seems to do just as good a job on classics.

I have been testing Epoxy-Mastic chassis paint since last winter on a rusty test plate, and despite frequent salty sprays, the test panel shows no sign of lifting or any fresh corrosion under the black semi-gloss coating.

Epoxy Mastic is a Norwegian two-pack product that can be applied by brush, roller or spray. It does not require a primer and can be applied over rusty surfaces, proving loose rust has been removed by wirebrushing. Proof that it penetrates and binds to the surface is borne out by the absence of lifting along the score mark made on the test panel.

If necessary, Epoxy mastic can be over-painted, but the UK agents say that two brush coats are all that is necessary for a durable black finish on chassis or suspension parts.Said Brian Cox in 1997

"It gave the best anti corrosion results with no visible signs of rusting along the panel or the score mark - tough enough for a stand alone chassis coating " James Stanbury Practical classics March 2007 . 10 years of independent testing and still the best product available.

VERDICT "promises lasting protection"."best ant-corrosion results" Epoxy Mastic: kept test panel rust-free"
